Nothing to do for Urbania Basketball. The first stop of the season arrives in San Marino
C Silver match in San Marino played with great intensity. We were point-to-point until 5 minutes from the end. Excellent defense throughout the match, I play in flashes in attack with Gustavo’s danger, Baldassarri’s intensity and Nardini’s organization of play. Pentucci clears the strong Raschi allowing him to score only 3 points from the line in the whole race. In the middle of the 4th quarter we took the lead with a triple from Enrico Di Coste at 49 to 47 with San Marino in very evident difficulty in attack (partial of 2 to 7 in the quarter), then some naivete and then the 5th foul by Enrico on a block that appeared to everyone to be very clean (even the referee who whistled it got it at the end of the game).
From that moment the light has been spent and San Marino, with a partial 9 to 0, closes the game. Good minutes on the pitch for Jamail Dhzio and for Leonardo Prenga, both born in 2004, who have shown a good figure and showed resourcefulness and desire to fight on all balls. Enrico Di Coste and Nardini closed the game with positive plus / minus evaluations, testifying their importance on the pitch, even if still not at 100% of their possibilities. San Marino won with merit, thanks to the excellent performances of Gamberini and Dini that we were not able to limit. Too bad for the absence of Giacomo Matteucci who certainly made his determination felt in games like this. (Source: Pallacanestro Urbania)
