Memorandum of Understanding signed between the University and the State Congress of the Republic of San Marino
The three-year Memorandum of Understanding was signed this morning between the University of the Republic of San Marino, in the person of the Magnificent Rector Corrado Petrocelli, and the Congress of State of the Republic of San Marino in the person of the Secretary of State for ‘Education, Culture, University and Scientific Research, Youth Policies, Andrea Belluzzi. Considering the importance of increasing relationships within a unitary and institutional framework, through collaboration aimed at making interactions more effective in the context of research and Third Mission activities of the University of San Marino and the leading institutions in the country , the signed agreement establishes a collaboration for mutual cooperation in the field of higher education, research and innovation, and to encourage initiatives of mutual interest in the scientific, legal, artistic and cultural fields. The collaboration will extend such as teaching, through the implementation of common projects and the implementation of training courses with joint professional ambitions at the level of master’s degree, doctorate, master, higher education courses; job orientation also through the creation of curricular or training and orientation internships; research, through the identification and development of research projects of mutual interest, the promotion of joint publication and the dissemination and / or development of research results; the sharing of personnel for educational, research and institutional activities; the realization of innovative and experimental projects on topics of mutual interest; the organization of seminars, symposia and round tables on topics of common interest. Through the stipulation of specific implementation agreements – which will be individually proposed by the single competent university and departmental structures and approved by the respective bodies – the University of Studies and the State Congress undertake to carry out projects related to the ambitions of collaboration, starting from the legal one, in particular that of labor law and that of international relations, also through the establishment, at the University of San Marino, of a Study Center on international relations and work. Universities and Congresses also mutually undertake to encourage all possible forms of collaboration, promoting knowledge of their respective research expertise in order to identify areas and sectors of interest on which to develop joint projects, also in the context of funding programs and also in collaboration with other entities or companies.
