Disneyland Paris: shows and parades are back
Among the shows to make a comeback: “the Lion King and the Rhythms of the Earth”. From Saturday, this performance played by singers, dancers or acrobats will amaze young and old. The show of about thirty minutes
will be performed daily at the Frontierland Theater, the largest stage in the amusement park. It will be offered in French sign language on weekends.
The other expected show is the “Disney Illuminations” which will return on December 21st. His show consists of a mixture of projections of water jets and pyrotechnic effects and takes up many of the classics of the franchise.
The icing on the cake, a new parade will be inaugurated on November 12. Called “Mickey and his sparkling Christmas parade”, it will have five luminous floats on which will be the celebrities of the giant Disney. Wearing a mask and a health pass remain compulsory within the park, reminds the management.
These shows are planned in a tense social context: more than a hundred cleaning agents from a subcontractor operating in the Newport Bay Club hotel in Disneyland Paris have been on strike since Sunday. They denounce in particular the understaffing and overload of work since the reopening, announced Friday various union representatives.
