MINSK, October 20 – Sputnik. Russia and Belarus have agreed to hold large-scale joint exercises “Union Shield” in 2023, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said on Wednesday. According to him, the Russian and Belarusian departments have already planned military security measures until 2024. The most ambitious event is the Union Shield joint exercise, which will take place in 2023. In September 2019, the maneuvers took place at a training ground near the village of Mulino, Nizhny Novgorod Region.
