SAN MARINO: Green pass, Italian exemption until 31 December
The week began lighter for the many San Marino workers in Italy as the Council of Ministries approved last Friday, in extremis, the decree with the new long-awaited derogation from Titan on the green pass for the citizens of the Republic of San Marino. The August measure in favor of cross-border travel was not only extended until 31 December, but also extended to all workplaces, both public and private, which employ Titan workers. The cases also include means of transport, schools and universities, health facilities, cultural, sport and recreational services carried out on Italian territory. The special pass is guaranteed with a vaccination certificate issued by the Institute for Social Security, the San Marino public health institution.
There were many cross-border workers, almost all vaccinated with Sputnik, or the drug not yet recognized by the European Union and Italy, who were anxiously awaiting the decree. The week began for them in the name of continuity. The Congress of State is satisfied. The case of San Marino may therefore represent a precedent for greater openness to vaccinated with the Russian drug. On Monday he also brought the reduced price of 10 euros to the San Marino people for the tests.
