Galicia / Portugal: Galician drug trafficking ‘number one’ fell – 5.2 tons of cocaine seized
Carlos Silla. Here is the name of one of the three men detained on a sailboat that transported more than 5.2 tons of cocaine off the Portuguese coast. He was born in Vilagarcía, province of Pontevedra, in Galicia, Spain. The local press says that “the number of the new generation of Galician drug traffickers has dropped”, as determined by the La Voz de Galicia.

According to the same official, the 24 meter sailboat was registered in Spain and the cocaine “did not come especially concealed” in the various divisions of the vessel. The drug will have come from Latin America destined for Europe.
