un plateau inédit de 50 modèles à l’essai
The electric and hybrid car show opens Monday, October 18 in Bordeaux-Lac
A both a conference, with 2,000 delegates announced, and an electric vehicle fair, Electric-Road, the first of its name in Bordeaux, is held at the exhibition center from Monday 18 to Wednesday 20 October. No less than 24 car manufacturers, with the notable exception of the American Tesla which did not follow up, will be present.
In addition to the presentation on the stand, for the first time in France, of the Nissan Ariya SUV or the Cupra Born, the Spanish cousin of the Volkswagen ID 3, the event is proud to offer some 50 electric or hybrid models for testing, including the freshly released DS4 and Peugeot 308. “This is not to sell my salon, but if you want to have an overview of the models available, you will have it here”, slips Marwane Hanoun, director of Electric-Road.
Online reservations
From the Citroën Ami, 7,000 euros excluding ecological bonus, to the Porsche Taycan, from 88,000 euros, through the Renault Zoé, one of the stars of the market, the test vehicles event is intended to be wide, if not within the reach of all budgets. It is also possible, and even recommended, to reserve your time slot on the show’s website, especially at midday, when the organizers expect an influx of individuals. “For people who work, it is a question of making waiting at the test center more fluid,” continues Marwane Hanoun.
For those who would be surprised to see the show scheduled at the beginning of the week, it is a combination of circumstances, at the end of a weekend of open doors in the concessions of the Bordeaux metropolis: “We could not not step on each other’s toes. Next year there are plans to extend the show to the weekend. In addition to the stands themselves, Electric-Road takes advantage, for three days, of a rich program of speakers on issues related to electric vehicles, including through discussions with the public.
Open Monday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Entrance: 10 euros.
