Nördik Impakt becomes NDK in Caen: the electro festival program

Canceled in 2019 for financial reasons and in 2020 because of the health crisis, Nördik Impakt is back from October 19 to 30, 2021. For the occasion, the festival of electronic cultures of Caen (Calvados) bECOMES NDK and determined a profound transformation. Discover the program.
An original creation
This is one of the novelties of this “Nördik new-look”. The Arts Attack! Association, which organizes the NDK, wanted to highlight its know-how to offer an original creation. “The idea is to imagine a show that can then be shown in other places and promote the festival’s influence,” explains Jérémy Desmet, the director of the festival.
Presented for free on Tuesday, October 19, at 9 p.m., at the Cargö, it will showcase the talents of urtrax and Mac Declos musicians, VJ Mauvais Oeil, dancer Flora and fashion designer Tony Azinheira.
See you at MoHo!
The coworking space on Quai Hamelin is one of the new places taken over by the electro festival. On Wednesday 20 October, from 6.15 p.m. to 7.45 p.m., the MoHo will notably be the setting for a yoga class given by Prana Yoga Caen and “ambiancée” by the Caen DJ Jean Vrai. In the process, we invite you to discover in music an exhibition of Sacem creation to women in music.
On Saturday 23 October, this time we are offering you a group sport class with an experienced coach and a DJ who offers a selection of the best of bass music (drum and bass, bassline, dubstep, UK garage).
Meetings on campus
Thursday October 21, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., the Belvédère room on campus 1 of the University of Caen will be the setting for two round tables. The themes ? “The place of women and gender in electronic music” and “digitization of musical practices”.
At 5.30 p.m., the Student House will host an aperitif-concert with Verveine (electro-pop). Finally, at 8:30 p.m., it’s time for a screening of the documentary Sisters With Transistors at the Daure amphitheater.
It happens in bars
Thursday October 21, from 8 p.m., the NDK Festival will be invited to five bars in Caen. You will have an appointment with The New Sin and Factor [i] at Déserteurs, Club Dinette at Nonna, Onto Records at La Garsouille, Vinyl Mobile at Ecto Bar and No One Like Us at Trappist.
Dancing evenings
No clubbers friends, NDK has not forgotten you! Friday October 22, from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., the Cargö will be the setting for an electro evening with The Pilotwings (live), Roni, DJ Mell G, Simo Cell and Amor Satyr (23 to 25 euros). Saturday 23 October, at the same place and always from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., make way for techno with Bolt Ruin (live), Dr ELFA, Cuften (live), Arnaud Letexier and SPFDJ (23 to 25 euros).
Friday October 29, from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., the current music room of Caen will vibrate to the sound of bass music with Ramen Break, Pura Pura, Anaïs Leszcynska, The Caracal Project and Kaval (23 to 25 euros). Saturday October 30, direction Hérouville where the Big Band Café will host a psy trance evening, from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., with Tilda, Sid Jenkins, Miss TeKiX, Kalki and Jilax (18 to 21 euros). The same evening, there will be a hard music atmosphere at Cargö with Unsure, Onelas, Comrave, Bxrnadetth, Creeds, Neko, D-Frek and Radium (23 to 25 euros).
Sunday, October 31, from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m., as the festival’s closing, the Salle de la Presqu’île will host the best of house music with Sichuan, XBD and Didier Alline (17 to 21 euros).
For kids
Wednesday October 27, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., the Cargö will schedule the Allo Cosmos snack-show (5 to 9 euros). And from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., the Alexis-de-Tocqueville library will offer a free workshop to discover electronic music.
