Green pass, Amt Genova estimates the cancellation of 10% of the journeys: “Friday 15 October possible irregularities but guaranteed service”. Trains, no cancellations
Genoa – The transport company of the Municipality of Genoa Amt, on the basis of the preventive notifications of absence due to lack of Green pass received to date by the staff, “provides for the cancellation of several service journeys, indicatively less than the service 10% of the total rides“.
In a note he explains that instead services for the disabled, school buses and complementary schools are guaranteed. Yes, a service has repercussions both on the provincial and on the urban one: “there may be some irregularities on the frequency but the service will be guaranteed with all modes of transport”.
“The situation in the process of settling down and only in the possible dimension of several days will have an impact on the service, also in function of the unannounced absences” says the company.
According to the data collected by AMT through the preventive declarations, about 80 workers could be without Green Pass, half of whom are drivers of the urban service, out of a total of over 2,700 employees.
The provincial service, on the other hand, provides for cuts of at least 99 journeys, less than 10% of the total.
Trains: no cancellation foreseen
In Liguria, no cancellation of regional service trains is currently envisaged. The entry into force of the Green Pass obligation should therefore not affect rail transport. The companies of the FS group guarantee that they have “put in place all the measures to manage the adoption of the Green pass in the workplace”.
Estimates of the Liguria Region: “10-15% of the staff of the institution without the Green pass”
It is not only Amt that has to deal with the repercussions on the obligation of the Green pass for workplaces. All the companies and public institutions of Liguria are preparing to face any repercussions.
The Liguria Region has developed the plan to implement the national provisions on the obligation, following the national guidelines. In particular, it is envisaged that in the offices where the security service is present, the checks are carried out by the staff providing this service. In the other regional offices, the manager, or one or more employees, entitled to carry out these checks, on a random basis or on a sample basis (on at least 20% of staff as required by national directives) was identified. “An empirical estimate shows about 10-15% of the staff not in possession of the green certificate, out of about 1400 employees. Those who do not have it will have to remain a home without pay as they are unjustified absent from the service” explains a note. As for those exempt for health reasons, it will be sufficient for them to produce an exemption certificate to the competent doctor, who will communicate it to the employer. Anyone without green certification will not be able to access the premises. If already invited to go out and reported to the prefecture for the imposition of the sanction.
The provisions will come into force from the morning of Friday 15 October and will affect not only employees but also all those who are at the offices of the Liguria Region. The provisions also concern the offices of the Regional Council. “The Liguria Region has a small number of unvaccinated employees – says the commissioner for personnel Simona Ferro – and I hope that the new legislation will be received as an effective method of health protection”. “The operating procedures are absolutely consistent with what is applied in the other Regions – says the Director General of the Organization Nicola Giancarlo Poggi -. The Region, which already has wide different time slots, will maintain them and, after a first verification of the trend, will have no difficulty an intervention by remodeling them differently “.
