Mirko Palazzi leaves the Warsaw hospital
Mirko Palazzi was discharged this morning from Centralny Szpital Kliniczny MSWiA in Warsaw, where he has remained under observation since Saturday evening following an eye injury during the Polish 3-0 goal. Scorer of the goal, Tomasz Kedziora, was among the first to contact the San Marino defender, expressing his displeasure and wishing him the best. The worst seems to have been averted: “I would like to thank the doctors of the hospital in Warsaw – comments Palazzi -, I received impeccable treatment and fantastic assistance. The same goes for the representatives of the FSGC who have been with me a lot after this unexpected event ”. Palazzi is doing well and this is what counts: in the afternoon he will reach Kielce, where he will play the U21 national team of San Marino and will return to the territory with the same delegation. In the next few days he will undergo an eye examination in San Marino and will have to refrain from any physical and sporting activity for a month. Which will prevent him from taking part in the challenges with Hungary and England which, however fascinating and important, will never be worth the health of a boy: “I’m obviously sorry. I send a big good luck to the boys for tonight’s challenge also from these lines, after having done whatsapp in the team’s whatsapp group ”.
