At the end of July, the 23-year-old ordered just under 50 grams of cannabis herb on the Darknet. The delivery came from Spain to Vienna by air freight. During a random check, the customs office in Vienna Schwechat identified drugs for sure.
House search: police found drugs and weapons
Because the 50-gram delivery did not arrive, the 23-year-old ordered again from the same seller. After the customs officials also confiscated this package with 28 grams of cannabis herb, the public prosecutor ordered a house search of the accused. In mid-October, the officers found an identical package with eight grams of cannabis herb in the Tennengauer’s apartment. When the officers found the man with these deliveries, the Tennengau resident confessed to a total of ten drug orders over the Darknet.
The officers also found numerous addictive substance paraphernalia and several weapons such as telescopic batons, alarm weapons and stun guns in the apartment. The accused, against whom an official weapons ban has been in effect since 2015, is reported in accordance with the Weapons Act and the Narcotics Act.
