Photograph the Port of Lisbon and win 1,500 euros. Applications open until October 15th
The Porto de Lisboa Photography Challenge “1 port, 2 banks, 11 municipalities, 200Km to photograph”, is receiving applications until 15th October. Upload your photo and be eligible to win up to 1,500 euros.
The best photograph chosen by the Port of Lisbon will be enlarged and exhibited at Gare Marítima de Alcântara and the set of photos of all competitors can still be seen in 2021, on the Port of Lisbon portal.
Limiting the World Photography Day, the Administration of the Port of Lisbon relaunched on 19 August, the photography challenge, addressed to all citizens, to photograph the banks, landscapes and details of the riverside area of the Port of Lisbon.
200 km of margin to photograph
Participants have 200 km of margin to photograph, and must always identify the geographic points where they are captured as images.
“1 port, 2 banks, 11 municipalities, 200 km to photograph” is the name of this photographic challenge, which, through the eyes of the participants, will show the Port of Lisbon in multiple possibilities “and with a lot of inspiration, we are sure”, referred the organization do the challenge.
The port jurisdiction borders the territories of the municipalities that embrace the Tagus estuary: Alcochete, Almada, Barreiro, Benavente, Lisbon, Loures, Moita, Montijo, Oeiras, Seixal and Vila Franca de Xira.
