In Milan, Covivio develops new Moncler’s headquarters
Moncler and Covivio announce the signing of a 15-year pre-rental agreement for a future 38,000 m² building, which will house the new headquarters of the luxury brand from the end of 2024, in the business district of Symbiosis developed by Covivio in the southern area of Milan. Moncler will bring together its employees, currently spread over three different sites.
“This partnership with Moncler (…) confirms the tremendous attractiveness of Symbiosis, which has already won over many large accounts”, confides Alexei Dal Pastro, CEO Italy of Covivio. “To date, of the 126,000 m² of the site, more than 100,000 m² have already been delivered or are under development, and marketed with 96% success. This new agreement confirms the positive trend in the Milan office market, which has shown great resilience in the face of the recent crisis, and whose momentum will be further strengthened with the major regeneration project of Scalo di Porta Romana. “
The building, designed by the international architecture and interior design studio Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, will aim for Well and Leed certifications, with particular attention paid to indoor air quality, thermal comfort, natural light, with the use of natural and recyclable materials with low environmental impact, as well as high energy efficiency equipment.
The chimney on the site (see photo), a symbol of its industrial past, has been restored and put back into operation with an ecological aim: to improve the thermal performance of the building by introducing outside air into a “bioclimatic greenhouse” surrounding the building. ‘apartment building.
