Salzburg State Youth Advisory Board for the exclusion of an RFJ representative
On September 23, masked men stormed the pastoral office of the diocese. The action is directed against the planned erection of a memorial for people who died while fleeing.
On Tuesday 17 members of the State Youth Advisory Board voted for the exclusion of the RFJ representative, there was only one vote against. However, the exclusion still has to be formally decided by the state government. The relevant application has been submitted by the Young People’s Party (JVP), the rural youth, the JUSOS, the Protestant youth and the scouts. ÖVP, Greens and NEOS are pleased with the decision of the State Youth Advisory Board.
“Right-wing extremists have lost nothing”
The State Youth Advisory Board is the state government’s official advisory body on youth issues. A right-wing extremist sentiment has lost nothing there, together ÖVP youth spokeswoman LAbg.Martina Jöbstl. On the part of wanting to reveal the man in their place, criticized Jöbstl. The Green Youth Spokesman LAbg. Simon Heilig-Hofbauer agreed: “With the RFJ board member, the relevant right-wing extremist provocations and derailments have increased more and more.” Right-wing extremist ideas have no place in the Salzburg State Youth Advisory Board.
NEOS youth spokesman, LAbg. Sebastian Huber, said: “In my opinion, too many limits have now been exceeded. Anyone who applauds this despicable disruptive action by right-wing extremists is losing the democratic level.”
