Pau Gasol retires after a legendary career
The Spanish ace today forty-one, Pau Gsolo, he decided to hang up his boots after one legendary career full of successes. In 2001 – 2002 he was awarded deaf of the year in the NBA, the highest basketball league in the world. With me Lakers he also won two titles as second violin after his legendary friend Kobe Bryant. There are those who claim that in one of these two titles won, the Spaniard deserved the MVP award of the finals. Pau played in the NBA in the 2000s, the one where there were fewer points ever, where it was therefore more difficult to emerge. Despite a great career overseas, with the Spanish national team it probably did even better. Two silvers at olympics behind the American dream teams, a world won in 2006 and three Europeans won. On an individual level he was once a World Cup mvp and twice a European mvp. Pau belongs to the second generation of European times flown in the NBA and at that time foreigners in the NBA did not fully enjoy the ease of entry they enjoy today. And looking at the statistics that Gasol has produced in the national team and comparing them to those that the NBA stars have billed with the US team, one thinks that in the NBA he cannot express his true value. But even so Pau became one legendary also in the NBA and his name appears together with the greatest legends that have made the history of the discipline.
