“Towards the new derogation, decisive talks on Thursday”
Confidentiality remains maximum, but the sale between San Marino and Italy intensifies, while is approaching the deadline of October 15th, last date indicated in the Italian decree 111 of last August and which grants theexemption from the obligation of the vaccination certificate to San Marino citizens vaccinated with Sputnik.
A negotiation, conducted in parallel with Farnesina and Ministry of Health, for which a conclusion seems imminent: the Secretary of Health, Roberto Ciavatta, suggests this by speaking to the Council of San Marino citizens abroad.
After the meetings last Monday, the delegation will come back to Rome on Thursday composed of the Foreign Secretary, Luca Beccari and Ciavatta himself, together with theAmbassador of Italy in San Marino, Sergio Mercuri and al medical staff of the hospital of State. “On the Italian side – he says – there is the most wide availability for further exceptions by virtue of the specificity of San Marino, in the full understanding that we are in this situation by our will, but due to the Italian delays in the supply, at the start of the vaccination campaign“. Extension of the suspension which therefore now seems certain, the extension times of the new derogation would remain to be agreed.
In front of the representatives of foreign citizens gathered in the Council, the Secretary Ciavatta also spoke on the state of Health, with a focus on the new hospital, in response to their solicitations.
