L’1st October Filippo Landini he took possession of the room reserved for him at the Timpano College. Awaiting the young student from Imola will be classical studies to be conducted in one of the most prestigious university institutes in Italy and in the world, the Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa.
Filippo, 19 years old next December, tells how he had a try in his family. “My father believed in it more than I did. I didn’t have so many hopes, I thought that I would not have surpassed the writings ». Filippo arrives at the Normale with the hope of remaining in the university as a classical philologist, after graduating from the Rambaldi classical high school in Imola.
But he is far from a gray student completely absorbed in his studies. Yes, he likes ancient letters, he loves Lucretius, “then Seneca too”. But he also likes cinema, although his real extra-school passion is music. He plays the guitar and studied transverse flute for a year.
