Julien Wanders is making his comeback in Geneva

Julien Wanders returns after a break of around two months. At the first edition of the Giants Geneva, the native of Geneva WILL compete again. The European record holder meets strong competition. Favorite is half marathon world record holder and world number 1 Kibiwot Kandie from Kenya.
The 10km race will be held for the first time this year. The route along Lake Geneva and also goes through the city center. Julien Wanders will rehabilitate himself for the Olympic Games in Tokyo in his home country. At the Olympics, the 25-year-old stayed well below his usual level and ended up in 21st place.
Most recently, however, Wanders had to pause due to an Achilles tendon injury. Therefore not too much can be expected of him, a time similar to an Olympics seems realistic.
