From Friday 15 to Sunday 17 October the “Terre di Pisa Food & Wine Festival” returns, the festival dedicated to the culture of good food and drink in the Pisan territory organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Pisa in collaboration with trade associations and patronage of the Municipality of Pisa, the Pisa University and the Tuscany Region. The ninth edition of the exhibition-market will be full of product and wine tastings, seminars and workshops. All activities will be held in the open air in the frame of the central Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II at the following times: Friday 15 October from 17 to 22 and Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 October from 11 to 22. The vast exhibition space will host 80 food and wine producers delle Terre di Pisa – professionals of the quality of Isnart hospitality and of the typical products of the Vetrina Toscana project – who will accompany the public in a 360 ° experience: from the history of production to the tasting and sale of products.

A particular focus will be reserved for wine. In addition to 4 masterclasses to be held inside the Affari building, guided tours are provided. A real moment of study and knowledge to focus attention on the Pisan territory, starting from the specificity of the Doc Terre di Pisa. Two other protagonists will be the oil of the Terre di Pisa, one of the key products of the Tuscan culinary tradition, and the chocolate that will be the ingredient of the final competition open to the public.
Terre di Pisa makes quality its brand with a careful eye on health and food safety according to the ancient dictates of Hippocrates “make food your medicine”. Nutrafood of the University of Pisa which will provide visitors, through laboratories, games and quizzes, with information on conscious purchases and consumption.
