The charge of the 200 for the 64th Lugo – San Marino
On Sunday 3 October in Lugo, in order to relaunch youth cycling sport, while complying with the rules imposed by the FCI regarding Covid, Ciclistica Baracca proposes the 64th edition of the national classic for students LUGO – SAN MARINO – Memorial Lorenzo Berardi. The patronage was granted by the Secretariat of State for Sport of the Republic of San Marino, by the Municipality of Lugo, by the Union of Municipalities of Lower Romagna, while “The BCC Credito Cooperativo Ravenna Forlì and Imola” is the institutional sponsor.
Over two hundred young cyclists have joined, representing 37 clubs from Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, Piedmont, Umbria, Marche, Trentino, Alto Adige, Veneto, Liguria, Lombardy, Lazio, Abruzzo.
The route is the classic one from Lugo, to Bagnacavallo, Russi, San Pancrazio, Ghibullo, San Pietro in Vincoli, San Zaccaria, Matellica, Cannuzzo, Pisignano, Villalta, Sala, Gatteo, Savignano, Canonica, Poggio Berni, Ponte Verucchio, Gualdicciolo (state border), Acquaviva, Borgo Maggiore, San Marino for a total of 98 kilometers.
Meeting point: CC Iris – Via Piratello – 7.30 am; Team presentation: 8.15 am;
Departure: 9.30 am
Arrival: San Marino – Piazzale Lo Stradone about 12 noon.
Up for grabs, among others, is the CONAD GPP (Grand Prix of the Plains) with final score for the first three companies classified in this particular performance through TVs made available by Conad Operators along the way. Other important moments of the award ceremony involve Panathlon San Marino, San Marino Cycling Federation, Com.It.Es. San Marino as well as other Romagna economic forces.
At the same time, along the same route, the amateur cycling competition will also take place in a competitive line, organized by the Francesco Baracca Cycling Society in collaboration with Cicloclub Estense, Uisp, Acsi and FSC (San Marino Ciclismo Federation). The meeting is fixed at the Muccinelli antistadio in Lugo. The race for amateurs and women includes a single start at 8.30. The arrival is the same as the pupils in Piazzale Lo Stradone in San Marino city.
