AN This Wednesday, CNN Portugal announced Pedro Pinheiro, José Carlos Araújo, Rui Loura and Paulo Magalhães as general editors of the channel. In release, it is highlighted that these “professionals have a curriculum in which their vast experience in journalism stands out, not only in television and not only in Portugal”.

Nuno Santos, director of CNN Portugal, emphasizes, in the same note, the “quality” of each of its new editors, believing that they will materialize, “with the rest of the team and with the general dynamic that we will have in the newsroom”, a ” radical change “in the way of providing information in Portugal.

Pedro Pinheiro and Rui Loura are the two professionals who arrive at Media Capital. The first comes from TSF, where he was a director, and the last study in recent years at SuperSport, one of the “global giants of sport”, based in South Africa.

Paulo Magalhães and José Carlos Araújo already belonged to the communication group and are now part of this new information project with editing functions.

Nuno Santos says that the CNN Portugal team is not finished yet: “In the antenna and in the digital, we will have news in the coming days. We want the best with us”.
