Two Burgundians claiming to be “patriots” climbed the Arc de Triomphe
Two young students Venus of Sassenay, in Burgundy, climbed Arc de Triomphe this morning to start a blue-white-red banner.
They wanted to protest against the work of Christo which, according to them, represents “an insult to the memory of the soldiers“dead for France. On the banner, a inscription “Honor to the soldiers who died for the fatherland”.
In the center of it is a N Napoleonic, to return to in a way formerly a Z, in support of a possible candidacy for the 2022 presidential election of the far-right journalist Eric Zemmour.
Dressed in a shirt, tie, and waistcoat, they came down roped along the facade to perform what they bring as a gesture “human and patriot“.
Their action, broadcast on Twitter by Livre Noir, a media that openly supports Eric Zemmour, to like evacuation of the monument. They were then arrested before being released late morning.
