Piloto de Paredes continues to fight for the title in the Portuguese Karting Championship
Joaquim Rocha continues to fight for the title in the X30 Super Shifter Gentleman category of the Portugal Karting Championship. An absolute debutant in the sport in 2021, the driver from Paredes won the qualifying heat and got two more podiums in the two finals played last weekend, on September 18th and 19th, at KIRO-Kartódromo Internacional da Região Oeste, in Bombarral .
“It was another weekend of discoveries, as I only got to know the Bombarral track the week before the race. During the race, it was a little difficult to control my nerves, which is normal for someone like me, who has very little experience in karting. I missed a few starts and that made me lose places, which then are more difficult to recover if we don’t have the experience to overcome “, starts by reporting the pilot.
Still, Joaquim Rocha makes a “positive balance” participation in the test. “Now, I’m going to try to get to know the Braga track as well and have a good performance so we can finish the championship well”, he looked at.
The fifth and final double round of the Portuguese Karting Championship is scheduled for October 2nd and 3rd, at the Kartódromo Internacional de Braga.
