Floriana Scarlato is resigning after only four months as Head of Compliance at Credit Suisse Switzerland and is leaving the bank.
Floriana Scarlato resigns from her position as Head of Compliance at Swiss Universal Bank (SUB) as a member of the Management Committee of SUB and as a member of the Executive Board of Credit Suisse (Switzerland) with immediate effect, as announced by CS on Monday. You have decided to leave Credit Suisse and take on a new challenge outside of the bank. Scarlato had only taken on the role of Head of Compliance at the SUB at the beginning of March.
Scarlato joined Credit Suisse in 2005 and has held various key management positions since then. She built up a global compliance organization in the International Wealth Management (IWM) division and was Head of Cross Border & Client Confidentiality in Private Banking. Between 2013 and 2015 she was Head of Private Banking & Wealth Management Business Risk Management. In her most recent role as Chief Compliance Officer of SUB, Scarlato was a member of the Board of Directors of Credit Suisse Italy and a member of the Supervisory Board of Credit Suisse Germany.
In the media release, Credit Suisse will inform about the successor to Scarlato in due course.
