Delort continues to score as Montpellier beats Strasbourg
Andy Delort found the back of the net as Montpellier claimed a relentless 3-2 victory over Strasbourg in the Ligue 1 game on Sunday.
The 29-year-old delivered impressive performances in front of goal and against the Racers, he continued his strong performances.
Delort scored his second goal in a row at the Meinau stadium after also finding the back of the net against Saint-Etienne last weekend.

Montpellier started the game impressively, enjoying more possession, and entered the scoresheet in the 36th minute.
GaĆ©tan Laborde opened the scoring for Michel Der Zakarian’s team with a fine header after being set up by Junior Sambiam.
Delort then doubled the lead with a nice finish, lobbing the ball over goalkeeper Matz Sels after finding himself in a head-to-head situation.
Laborde completed their brace in the 49th minute which seemed to wake Strasbourg up as they threw a late comeback into the game.
Ludovic Ajorque reduced the deficit for the Stade de la Meinau team before Kevin Zohi scored after receiving a nice assist from Sanjin Prcic.
Montpellier, however, kept their lead to secure all three points in the game, frustrating the Racers’ moves to try to share the points.
Delort played for 77 minutes before being replaced by Elye Wahi, made two key assists and won seven aerial fights as part of his contribution to the game.
The Algeria international has now scored 17 goals and delivered nine assists in 31 appearances in all competitions this season.
With this victory, Montpellier moved to eighth place in the standings after collecting 50 points in 36 games.
Delort will be hoping to continue his meteoric performances when Montpellier face Paris Saint-Germain in the Coupe de France on May 12.
The striker has 10 caps for the Algerian national team since his debut against Mali in 2019 and remains a key member of the African team.
