Burglar arrested shortly after the crime
timeline
The twilight patrol of a police in Plainfeld (Flachgau) arrested three burglars shortly after the crime on Wednesday evening. They are accused of breaking into a family home beforehand. The alleged perpetrators behaved suspiciously, the police stopped the car and found stolen goods.
The three men, two 47-year-old Montenegrins and a 70-year-old Serb, were traveling in a car with a German license plate that had been suspiciously driving in a wooded area in Guggenthal (Flachgau) a few days earlier and had been observed.
Men may have started several thefts
The vehicle was then seen again in the residential area on Wednesday afternoon. The police officers from the twilight patrol watched the car, which was quickly steered out of the settlement with the three people. The officers checked and discovered the burglary in the family home. Shortly thereafter, the car with the three men was stopped in Salzburg-Gnigl. Stolen goods were secured in the car, but this should not only come from the burglary that day.
A majority of the last recorded twilight falls can be attributed to the three suspects. All three made no statements during the interrogation. You will be transferred to the Salzburg prison. The trace evaluation continues. Further investigations are ongoing.
