San Marino football, the big match of the day is Cosmos-Tre Fiori
The San Marino BKN301 Championship is an increasingly exciting tournament, which tomorrow includes the fifteenth round.
La Fiorita, current leaders, will observe the rest shift and therefore the opportunity for the pursuers to shorten the gap will be tempting.
The unquestionably cartel lot is Cosmos-Three Flowers, scheduled for Sunday at 15:00 on the Montecchio field. A potential success for Andy Selva’s yellow and blues would take them to first place on equal points with the team from Montegiardino while a victory for Nicola Berardi’s team would make the yellow-greens leap to first place with a length advantage over Fiorita. So a game to be followed with two teams reduced by excellent periods of form: Tre Fiori in the last round interrupted their streak of consecutive victories with a draw against Fiorita while Cosmos – which numbers in hand have the best defense and the best attack – he largely prevailed in the Serravalle derby against Folgore.
He will also be able to join the fight for the summit Virtus, another team in great form and only four lengths behind the leaders. Luigi Bizzotto’s neroverdi come from two consecutive victories and on Saturday they face a Red pen orphan of victory for almost four months (last success in the championship dated 17 September, 4-0 against Folgore). Another team looking for valuable points for the climb is the Three Pens, currently fifth five lengths behind Fiorita. Ceci’s team returned to victory in the last round, erasing the two consecutive defeats of last December. For the blue-and-whites of the city, on the field on Sunday at 3pm in Domagnano, there is the Faetano back from two stops that made him lose ground and that currently relegated him to seventh place with 16 points.
In Saturday’s program on the field also the Freedom, currently in sixth place with 18 points, which contends with the Saint John. Floriano Sperindio’s grenades have not lost in four rounds (two wins and two draws, in the last round a spectacular 3-3 in the ninetieth and ten men with Murata) while for Tognacci’s Rossoneri success has been missing for just four days.
The match between Fiorentino and Folgore: Malandri’s rossoblu are in the penultimate place of the group but they are returning from three consecutive useful results; good period also for Folgore who, despite the 4-0 defeat against Cosmos in the last round, have collected seven points in the last four. The race between Juvenes/Customs and Cailungo: Manuel Amati’s team takes the field for the first time in 2023 due to rest in the last round and wants to redeem themselves after the two defeats in the last two races of the year which see them in twelfth place; two consecutive draws instead for Protti’s red-and-greens, just one point away from Juvenes-Dogana.
Among the postponements of Sunday in the field also Domagnano and Murata. The Giallorossi wolves come from three consecutive useful results, with the beautiful 4-1 victory over Faetano in the last round; instead it is a crisis for the bianconeri, stuck in last place and reduced by nine defeats in a row.
