Expensive bills in Cascina, 75 thousand euros in contributions for the less well-off: 380 applications accepted
The ranking for support to families of Cascina for the high bills has been defined: 380 are admitted to the contribution (30 excluded), disbursed thanks to the commitment of the Pisa Foundation and the Municipality, which have made 75 thousand euros available for the weakest sections of the population. A figure that made it possible to make a contribution of 134 euros for applicants with Isee up to 12 thousand euros and 284 euros for applicants with Isee between 12 thousand and 16,500 euros.
“We have decided to pay particular attention to the segment of the population with ISEE between 12,000 and 16,500 euros – underlines the social councilor Giulia Guainai – who have not benefited from the SGA compensation and energy tariffs and who have been most impacted by the impact of the crisis energetic in an economic framework already debilitated by the years of the pandemic. We have however kept our attention high even on the weakest segment of society. I thank the social office for the timeliness in drafting the documents and the maximum availability in the interest of Cascina”.
The contribution to families to meet high bills was made possible thanks to the resources made available by the Pisa Foundation (45,000 euros) and by the municipal administration (30,000 euros). “This maneuver served to help the weakest, most affected by the effects of the energy crisis – explains the mayor Michelangelo Betti – it is difficult for the municipal administrations alone to implement decisive interventions in the face of high bills. We can only thank the Pisa Foundation for the sensitivity shown and for what it has done in the social sphere in recent years, especially since the outbreak of the pandemic”.
