EHC Munich stumbles against Schwenninger Wild Wings
Munich – Table leaders Red Bull Munich have gone empty-handed in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) after four consecutive wins. At the start of the 42nd match day, the runners-up surprisingly lost 2-1 (0-1, 1-0, 0-1) to the Schwenningen Wild Wings at home.
Alexander Karachun (58th) fired Schwenningen to victory after Munich’s Patrick Hager (33rd) triggered the early lead of Johannes Huss (8th). At the top, however, Munich has a reassuring 15-point lead over pursuer Adler Mannheim.
