De Ligt missed tests against Salzburg – blind before debut
Matthijs de Ligt will certainly pass the upcoming test match as part of FC Bayern Munich’s winter preparations. Head coach Julian Nagelsmann provided the information at a press conference ahead of the game against FC Red Bull Salzburg, which kicks off at 6 p.m. on Friday. It is the only test of the southern Germans.
“He won’t be there against Salzburg tomorrow,” said Nagelsmann on Thursday. Basically, the injured ankle of the Dutch defender was not seriously affected: “Matthijs has a slightly swollen ankle, but everything is ok, we took a picture.”
With a view to the restart of the Bundesliga, de Ligt should be enough again. FCB are waiting for the start of the duel with Salzburg’s sister club RB Leipzig (January 20, 8:30 p.m.).
Daley Blind before Bayern debut
On the other hand, newcomer Daley Blind, who recently joined the German record champions, WILL play safely against Salzburg. “Of course he will play tomorrow. He still needs some time because the training intensity is also higher. You can see that he has a lot of experience, a lot of calm on the ball. He will be the new signing that we had in mind,” Nagelsmann said on record.
