Portugal is the third largest destination for exports of Brazilian components for footwear

Also according to data released by Assintecal, Argentina is the main destination for Brazilian exports in the sector, with purchases of 65.7 million dollars (63.6 million euros) between January and October, an increase of 37% compared to the period counterpart of the previous year.
The second largest buyer was China, with international sales in the order of 65.7 million dollars (61.08 million euros), which represents a drop of 14% compared to 2021, justified by the various confinements enacted with the COVID-19 pandemic, until today.
Portugal ranks third in 2022, with purchases of Brazilian components worth US$43.3 million (€40.25 million), representing a 36% growth compared to the period from January to October 2021.
