Red Bull Salzburg cap Amar Dedic bound to you in the long term. The 20-year-old right-back extended his contract with the series champions early on Wednesday until June 30, 2027. Dedic returned from his loan spell at WAC in the summer and has established himself as a regular with the Bundesliga leaders. He was used in 20 competitive games.
“He played an outstanding autumn season,” said Salzburg’s sporting director Christoph Freund. The Bosnian not only has exceptionally good technical skills, but is also in top physical condition. “I am very pleased that we were able to extend him in the long term, as I am convinced that a lot will come with his qualifications and his attitude in the coming years.”
For his part, Dedic was happy “about the confidence of the club”: “Not only were the appearances in the Champions League an absolute highlight for me, I’m also happy that I acted very consistently in the championship and remained injury-free. All of this is an incentive for me to keep working hard so that the successful autumn can be followed by an equally successful spring.”
