The most northerly point of Portugal
In the fourth episode of the Hit The Road series, Diogo goes to the northernmost point of mainland Portugal, which is in Cevide, Melgaço, in the district of Viana do Castelo.
In this, the first video of 2023, Diogo traveled around 1000 kilometers to meet the village that hosted the number 1 border marker with Spain, located between the banks of the river Minho and the river Trancoso.

With about three inhabitants, the village of Cevide — as Diogo recalled in the video — hoped to be part of any tourist itinerary, but due to its natural beauty, its state of conservation and the meaning it entails, this deflects change. After all, this is where Portugal begins.
The stunning landscapes gained even more attractions at this time of year. Between “beds” of leaves, dense paths of water and solid stone walls, everything leads us to the most important path in the village, which passes through the border marker no.
As Diogo explained in this video, all of this requires a kind of “rural crossfit”. Because the paths are not easy. But it’s worth.
Renault Megane E-Tech Electric
For this fourth episode of the series Hit The Road, we chose the Renault Megane E-Tech Electric as a travel partner. This model is the «kick off» of the revolutionary plan that Renault has in motion, and it starts to convince with its exterior image.
But on this trip, our main focus was on the experience behind the wheel, autonomy and charging. After all, we traveled about 1000 kilometers with a 100% electric car.

However, and largely thanks to the fact that the Mégane E-Tech Electric has native Google Maps as standard, it participated in gliding the route already with the stops for charging.
In the end, in addition to showing that longer trips don’t have to be a problem for those who have a tram, Diogo also showed the trip bills, highlighting what he paid for the five charges that were necessary.

UltraContact tires. Continental’s mileage benchmark
Developed for those looking for maximum durability, Continental has developed the new UltraContact. The most durable tire from the German brand.
To achieve this goal of UltraContact durability and long mileage, Continental had to develop a new exclusive compound which it called YellowChilli technology. Compared to other Continental compounds, this new YellowChilli technology relies on a network of polymer bonds with a focus on durability and resistance over time.
