Power, Power prices | Central Norway: Average price for electricity of 30.08 øre per kWh on Thursday
In Central Norway, the average price for electricity will be 30.08 øre per kilowatt hour (kWh) on Thursday and a maximum price of 34.8 øre.
Thursday’s average price per kWh is 49.7 øre lower than Wednesday and 38.1 øre lower than the same day last year, figures from electricity exchange Nord Pool show websites.
If the average price in Central Norway for the whole of December ended at 30.08 øre, no electricity subsidy would have been paid, since the subsidy only applies to prices above 70 øre per kWh.
The maximum price on Thursday of 34.8 øre per kWh is between 5 and 6 p.m. It is 91.5 øre lower than on Wednesday and 76.7 øre lower than the same day last year.
Disregarding any electricity subsidy, but including VAT (25 per cent), consumption tax (15.41 øre per kWh) and fee to Enova (1 øre per kWh), the maximum price in central Norway would be 64.03 øre.
The minimum price will be 22.1 øre per kWh between 4 and 5 at night.
