Rudolf Zeilinger and Josephine Rosen buy Ibikon Equestrian Center in Switzerland
The German Grand Prix coach Rudolf Zeilinger is moving to Switzerland. Zeilinger and his Swiss partner Joséphine Rosen took over the Ibikon riding center in Rotkreuz, Switzerland, from Robert Lualdi.
The title deed will be in the hands of the dressage couple in February 2023.

As an apprentice to the legendary Willi Schultheis, the 59-year-old Rudolf Zeilinger was an international Grand Prix rider who celebrated his greatest successes at Livinjo. Previously based in Emsbüren (GER), he then focused more on training students and was team coach for Denmark and Spain.
Joséphine Rosen is an international Grand Prix rider who was in the Swiss squad with Crescendo (by Casall x Lord) from 2015 to 2017. Rosen, 36, last competed internationally in 2021 aboard Global (by Rhodium x Goodtimes).
The couple welcomed a daughter, Eléonore Rosen Zeilinger, born in July 2020.
Ibikon Equestrian Center
The couple has now bought the Ibikon Riding Center from the renowned Swiss jeweler and dressage expert Robert Lualdi and will move in there from February 2023.
“Our little daughter can now grow up closer to her grandparents in Switzerland,” explains Josephine Rosen. “The fact that we were able to buy the center from Mr. Lualdi was a happy coincidence for everyone.”
Lualdi bought the property 35 years ago and transformed it into a prestigious equestrian center.
“There was a lot of blood, sweat and tears as well as good memories, but now it’s time to start a new chapter in my life,” said Lualdi, who wants to continue supporting Swiss dressage sport. “In the future I’ll live less than twenty meters from the center so that I can still be happy with horses.”

The Zeilinger couple plan to do some renovation work and then run a “self-sufficient” facility. They bring 16 sport horses and some broodmares with them.
“In Ibikon we want to train our own horses and those of our customers. The offspring of our broodmares are raised and trained here,” says Zeilinger. “We want to take a holistic approach to the stable, feeding the horses our own hay, reusing the manure and generating electricity from the solar panels,” added Joséphine.
