Tania Fasciani indoor silver medal (photo)
The bevanate Tania Fasciani still at the top in archery. The Italian FIARC 3D Indoor Championship was held in San Marino from 8 to 11 December with 400 archers from all over the peninsula. The championship thus returns to make a stop in the Republic of Titan after the 2014 European Championship.
The competition fields had been set up at the Multieventi and in the adjacent gymnasium with twenty silhouettes of three-dimensional animals per field. Competing in 5 disciplines (recurve bow, barebow, historical bow, longbow and compound freestyle) each divided into sub-categories related to the gender and age of the participants.
The qualifying races were held on 9 and 10 December. Only the top six archers in each category made it to the final on Sunday, competing on six templates to be played with a template arrow. (Continued after the photo)
Also in this edition of the indoor championships, Tania Fasciani in the historical bow category reached the final and won the silver medal.
The Umbrian archer had already won a gold medal at the EUROPEAN ibo champion 3D in 2021 and still a gold medal at the ibo National Championship in October 2022 and a silver medal at the EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP 3d indoor 2022. In this last competition he was the protagonist also his son Damiano Piermarini who for the second consecutive year was confirmed as the gold medal in his category.
