Almost 200 violations in the field of electricity were recorded in Ukraine
A meeting of the Anti-Crisis Energy Headquarters was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
The participants discussed the following questions:
- passage of the autumn-winter period;
- state of recovery of generating equipment;
- ensuring balanced operation of the electricity market and financial stability of its key participants during the heating season.
As Shmyhal noted, Ukraine cooperates with more than 30 countries of the world on the installation of equipment necessary for the repair of damaged energy infrastructure.
“Separately, the participants of the meeting paid attention to the issues of ensuring fairness and an even order of distribution of the use of available power and electricity between consumers during the application of measures to forcibly limit electricity consumption,” the press service writes.
According to Ruslan Slobodyan, head of the State Energy Inspection, during the first stage of inspections in Ukraine, 193 violations of the requirements of regulatory and legal acts in the field of electricity were recorded. The most common were:
- violation of the duration of breaks in the schedule between disconnections of consumers from electricity;
- application of stabilization schedules not provided for by current legislation;
- description in schedules of planned shutdowns of objects that are not included in the list of critical infrastructure;
- non-compliance with the duration of the shutdown;
- description of the list of enterprises included in the list of critical infrastructure agreed with local self-government bodies.
The leaders in terms of discovered damages were:
- PJSC “Volynoblenergo”;
- PJSC “DTEK Kyiv Regional Power Grids”;
- JSC “Poltavaoblenergo”;
- PJSC “DTEK Kyiv Electric Networks”;
- JSC “Ternopiloblenergo”;
- OJSC “Chernihivoblenergo”.
The least damaged was recorded in
- JSC “Prykarpattiaoblenergo”;
- JSC “Kharkivoblenergo”;
- PrJSC “Kirovogradoblenergo”.
The operators of the distribution system have been issued relevant acts, and the violations must be eliminated by December 31.
“We all understand that there is unevenness in turning off the light. Some houses can be without light for eight, ten or more hours, while others, if even opposite, for eight or ten hours with light. It is a matter of justice for the people. there should always be such inspection groups,” Shmyhal noted.
The Prime Minister also gave the task of publishing a public report for society every Friday on the detected violations in the system of distribution operators and on the implementation of measures to eliminate them.
