Smooth roads in Southern Norway | ABC News
On many roads it is slippery because rain freezes, especially on roads that have not been salted, informs traffic operator Steinar Våsjø at Vegtrafikksentralen south to The daily newspaper.
This is particularly the case in Southern Norway. There is a lot of rain in the region, which can cause water to freeze on already strewn roads.
– We encourage motorists to stop if they notice that the road is slippery and unsafe, and not least to adjust their speed according to the conditions, says Våsjø.
