Modellbahnverein Innsbruck Christmas exhibition: small trains on long journeys
Also this year, the largest and certainly one of the most beautiful model railway systems in Tyrol will open its doors for all friends of model railways, big and small, over Christmas and Epiphany. The exhibition is from 23.12. until 26.12. and 6.1. until 8.1. opened.
INNSBRUCK. Trains put together true to the original roll through lovingly detailed miniature landscapes. Tracks, points, signals, all in small format, as well as the landscape with the associated buildings. We are talking here about the installation of the ESV Innsbruck, model railway section, in the basement of the ÖBB building at Claudiastraße 2 in Innsbruck, where the facility has been based for almost 70 years.
Many highlights
The members of the ESV Innsbruck, Section Model Railway, have again come up with numerous surprises for the little friends of the model railway. So the so-called vineyard was diligently built. Children have the opportunity to try themselves as a train driver on a small model railway layout. Thanks to the built-in sound decoder, the model can come up with realistic sound effects.

Club members welcome
Every Friday from 6:30 p.m., the members of the ESV Innsbruck, model railway section, meet in the basement of the ÖBB building at Claudiastraße 2 in Innsbruck, where the model railway system is located, for the club evening. Mainly the club writes about the model railway layout, i.e. the landscape is rebuilt or parts of the layout are renewed. In addition, locomotives and wagons are maintained and the electronics and software are tinkered with. Interested new members are welcome in the association.
