120 drawings with emotions
A contest that, on this occasion, has had more than 120 drawings, including some “precious and exciting” made by the students of the Gloria Fuertes special education school, indicates the troupe in a press release.
This contest, like other activities proposed and carried out by the folkloric association, promotes the enhancement of this festive tradition in Andorra, documented over a hundred years ago, of bringing giants and big heads to the streets.
Schoolchildren “has been able once again to surprise us with some beautiful and luminous drawings, full of color, imaginative capacity and pure magic. They are, without a doubt, the ones who will continue and give life to this tradition and the ones who never stop dreaming of a giant”, indicates the association.
The troupe shows its “most sincere gratitude” to the Andorra City Council and its “faithful collaborators” Macu and Reino del Revés bookstores, Lumbert Watch Store and La Masada Roya Oils. They also do not forget the professionals of the educational community who showed “receptivity, interest and sensitivity”.
“Likewise, we express our satisfaction and joy for the great participation obtained and we will continue, within our modest possibilities, working for the visualization and vitality of the centenary Andorran troupe of giants and big heads”, concludes the association.
