San Marino Academy, Guadalupe Villagra aims for Infinity: “Intensity”
Last effort of the calendar year for the San Marino Academy preparing to receive the terrible freshman Infinity Futsal Academy. Sixth against third, and this says a lot about the difficulty coefficient of the match, but Guadeloupe Villagra collects the good signs seen with Cus Milano and looks ahead with confidence.
“That win was important to keep the position and to show what we worked on every week. Among the strengths I would certainly put the general attitude we’ve had in the last few games, which is essential for being able to do good things. And, on a tactical level, since the pitch is 40×20, we were able to play more as a team, with the right space to get the ball going and the possibility of creating good actions”.
And now the Venetians on the parquet friend.
“It will certainly be a hard-fought match, one of those in which concentration must be maximum on the part of the whole team. We are working together and tactically, which are the aspects that allow us to maintain the necessary intensity in these matches. I think it’s always important to study the opponent and see his strengths and weaknesses, so that we can have a tactical advantage when facing each other ”.
Second year in Italy, the first at the San Marino Academy for “Guada”, one of the many talents of the Worldwide Futsal Project.
“From day one I was welcomed very well, I immediately felt at ease within the team. We are a very united group, I think it is also seen from certain images of the season. And the staff is also united, which has helped my adaptation. As a team, there is still a lot to improve on, but I hope to give my contribution and help San Marino grow during the season”.
From Rosario, the city from which he comes, the sequel is constant.
“My family and friends are always there, it’s nice to hear from them even at a distance. Argentine futsal – continues Guada – is different from the Italian one, given that here when you compete it is between teams from different regions. In Argentina each city has its own tournament and one cup is played every year, in which teams from different cities compete against each other. Also from the point of view of the level of play there are differences, given the development of the sport that has taken place in Italy in the last period. On passion – he concludes – he is very strong and makes competitions live with great intensity, as indeed here too. This causes the level of the game to improve every year”.
Always learning, never stopping. The titan club is also aiming for continued growth.
“A growth that was evident from the first game, so I think we are on the right track. By 2023 – this is Guada’s wish – I hope to be able to celebrate all the goals we have set ourselves, as an individual and as a collective”.
