Kitco News wins the ‘Crypto Media Channel of the Year’ award at AIBC Malta
(Kitco News) – Kitco News has been a leading source of information on the precious metals market and the wider financial markets for more than a decade.
As cryptocurrencies have grown in importance and market share in recent years, Kitco News has made a concerted effort to offer the same quality of market coverage and valuable crypto insights as it does for the precious metals market, and its efforts have not gone unnoticed.
During the recent AIBC conference in Malta, Kitco News won the AIBC Award for ‘Crypto Media Channel of the Year.’ Kitco News was also nominated for ‘Crypto News Site of the Year’.
Kitco News was up against tough competition, including popular YouTube channels Altcoin Daily and CoinBureau, but the hard work of the news and video production teams at Kitco News impressed the judges enough to recognize the -organization as the Crypto Media Channel of the Year.

At the November conference, the AIBC organization selected 20 judges from its roster of presenters and attendees to vote on the Award winners in each category. Included in the list of judges was Akon, president and co-founder of Akoin, Michele Ficara Manganelli, the founder and director of the Blockchain Consortium, and Aly Madhavji, managing partner at the Blockchain Founders Fund.
The Crypto News site of the Year category also had strong candidates, including Cointelegraph and Bloomberg. In the end, the judges chose Cointelegraph for the award, but the fact that Kitco News – which started offering only coverage focused on the crypto market earlier this year – was nominated along with these industry powers says a lot about the quality of coverage.
