For the first time, Steve Tzikakis, CEO of the company and Sitecore’s executive team opened the doors of the company’s new, state-of-the-art facilities, located in the thriving area of Amarousi, to welcome a host of distinguished guests, including clients and collaborators. from Greece, media representatives, but also many Sitecore employees in Athens. The new offices are part of Sitecore’s major global investment plan of $1.2 billion that began in January 2021, and demonstrates the company’s confidence in practice in the prospects and dynamics of Greece. In fact, the company has already reached an important recruitment milestone, with the team in Greece now counting over 170 employees, after the acquisition of the Greek startup Moosend in May 2021, a team that then had around 40 employees. .
In the context of the event, the Chief Engineering Officer of Sitecore, Nasos Topakas, is consolidating a large Engineering Hub in Athens, which will be an integral part of the roadmap for the development of the company’s products.
