Cuca Roseta, Paulo Gonzo, Bonga and Samuel laugh on New Year’s Eve in Lisbon
ONE New Year’s Eve in Lisbon will be celebrated at Terreiro do Pão to the sound of national and international artists such as Cuca Roseta, Bonga and Samuel Ria, in a party that aims to celebrate Lusofoniawas announced today.
In a statement, EGEAC -Company for Equipment Management and Cultural Animation informs that the New Year will be celebrated in Terreiro do Pão, “the heart of the city”, with a multicultural poster.
According to that municipal company, Paulo Gonzo will be the first artist to take the stage, at 10.30 pm, accompanied by his band, in a concert that promises to remember the successes “Jardins Proibidos” and “I gave you almost everything”.
Midnight will be marked with a fireworks show that will last 12 minutes, to the sound of an original soundtrack created by DJ Moullinex.
In the first minutes of 2023, from the start to the show like Batukadeiras X, a group of Cape Verdean women, followed by artists Bonga, Cuca Roseta, Elida Almeida, Pongo and Samuel riathat will be on stage with 26 musicians, including the formation Fogo Fogo, a string quartet, percussionists, cavaquinho and woodwinds🇧🇷
“Throughout 23 songs inspired by different influences and musical styles, a rhythmic journey is proposed that wanders between fado, funan, mornas and coladeiras”, reads the statement.
