The seasons change and the contexts change, not the strength in blue swimming. After the European gold in long course in Rome, the men’s 4×100 conquers the world title in short course in Melbourne. A super race for Alessandro Miressi, Paolo Conte Bonin, Leonardo Deplano and Thomas Ceccon who with 3’02”75 also set the new world record. A success never in question for the Italians who led from start to finish and finished ahead of Australia and the United States. Record that also arrives in the female version of the same relay. Except that the Australians O’Callaghan, Wilson, Harris and McKeon conquered it in 2’25″43. Other world races are the first semifinal of the 50 Butterfly with the expected Dylan Carter without opponents in 22’02 – The final of the women’s 200m medley, however, the Italian Sara Franceschi was also at the start.
