Status: 12/14/2022 10:57 p.m
Red Bull Munich has notched up its impressive streak in the German Ice Hockey League and its eleventh win in the streak. Coach Don Jackson’s team won 6:3 against the Kölner Haie on Wednesday (December 14, 2022) and is still clearly leading the table with 67 points from 29 games.
ERC Ingolstadt, second in the table, has 53 points from 28 games after a 6:3 duel against the Straubing Tigers. Third are the Adler Mannheim (51/27) after a 4:1 against the Nürnberg Ice Tigers in front of Straubing (50/29).
In the table cellar, things continue to look bad for the German champions Eisbären Berlin. Due to a 2:3 defeat after extra time at the Iserlohn Roosters, the Berliners slipped to third place in the table. Things went better for the Augsburg Panthers. The Bavarian Swabians beat the Fischtown Pinguins Bremerhaven 4:3 and caught up with Berlin in the table. Taillight Bietigheim could not do anything in Düsseldorf and lost 4-1 in the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia.
Chris DeSousa and Ortega meet twice
Canadian striker Chris DeSousa shone with two goals and two assists in Bayern’s victory. Wojciech Stachowiak also scored twice in Ingolstadt’s clear victory. DEL top scorer Matthias Plachta contributed his 35th point of the season to the success of Mannheim.
Schwenningen won 4:2 (0:1, 2:1, 2:0) on Tuesday (12/13/2022) and is tenth in the table of the German Ice Hockey League (DEL). Wolfsburg is still fifth.
In front of 1,580 spectators, Tyson Spink (22nd minute, 60th), Alex Trivellato (24th) and Alexander Karachun (47th) turned the party for the guests. Rhett Rakhshani (4th) ensured a balanced early lead for Wolfsburg and meanwhile to 2:2 (31st).
