This Tuesday, Portugal recorded its second victory in the World Cup of goalball, which takes place in Matosinhos, Porto, beating Algeria, African champions of the sport, by 6-5.
All the goals of the Portuguese team were scored by the captain of the team, Fábio Oliveira.

“It was a complicated job because we had to defend very well. We could have hoped for an easier victory, but Algeria fought very well and we must emphasize, mainly, our defensive work. In the women’s tournament, Portugal lost the games it played and this Tuesday fell to the United States by 12-4.
