Remudas could not overcome Gran Canaria Sola HK’s boom from Norway. His 29-32 loss at the Antonio Moreno Pavilion last week was added to the negative result of the return game played in the Scandinavian fiefdom (34-28) this Sunday. The match was a rematch in the third round of the EHF Cup, which led to the group stage of the continental competition.
The match in the Assenhallen de Sola saw developments against the interests of the Gran Canaria side. Remudas did not play well, which could have conditioned the match to 6-1 straight away.
Remudas was always behind on the match result with predictions that upset the classification of the Norwegians.
