Princess Victoria of Sweden, 45, wears stunning dress and diamond tiara for Nobel Prize ceremony
Princess Victoria of Sweden looked straight out of a fairy tale this afternoon as she joined her parents on stage for the Nobel Prize ceremony.
The heir to the throne wore a stunning pink Camilla Thulin dress, which she paired with the Diamond Six Button Tiara, a diamond necklace and earrings, the Order of Seraphim’s sash and star, and King Carl Gustaf’s portrait brooch.
Victoria, 45, and her husband Prince Daniel, 49, joined Queen Silvia and King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden as he presented the Nobel Prize at the annual ceremony at Stockholm City Hall.
The princess looked stunning in her ‘marshmallow dress’ which has received somewhat mixed reviews online. She smiled widely and clapped enthusiastically as she sat behind her mother, who wore a purple dress and Napoleonic Amethyst Parure Tiara.

The rest of the Swedish royal family, including Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia, Princess Christina and Tord Magnuson, as well as Countess Medeleine Kogevinas were in the audience.
After the ceremony, the royals attended the glittering Nobel Banquet in Stockholm City Hall. Victoria was escorted into the banquet by Nobel laureate in physics Alain Aspect, while her sister-in-law Princess Sofia arrived with parliament speaker Andreas Norlen.
Sofia, 38 – who married Prince Carl Philip in 2015 – wore an Ida Lanto dress and a new aquamarine version of her wedding tiara.
The list of invitees to the banquet this year has caused some controversy, with some names intentionally left off the guest list.
The ambassadors of Russia and Belarus were not invited, while the leader of the anti-immigration, right-wing party Sweden Democrats Jimmie Akesson was also left off the list.
This year’s Nobel Prize ceremonies are the first to take place entirely in person since the pandemic, and several laureates from 2020 and 2021 are expected to attend.

– Given the challenges the world is facing, it feels particularly important to highlight Alfred Nobel’s idea of the international community, says Vidar Helgesen, executive director of the Nobel Foundation.
Dynamite inventor Alfred Nobel left around 31 million kroner – about 1.8 billion kroner (£142 million) in today’s money according to the Foundation – to fund prizes for achievements in science, literature and peace which have been awarded annually since 1901.
The Swedish capital hosts the annual award ceremony for the fields of medicine, physics, chemistry, literature and economics, while the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony is held at Oslo City Hall in Norway, with the conflict in Ukraine at the center of this year’s awards.
