The qualifications open the FIARC 3D Indoor Italian Championship
It is the rolling of the drums of the Cerna dei Lunghi Archi to introduce the return to Titan, 8 years after the European Championship, of a great event dedicated to arrows and archers. The Italian FIARC 3D Indoor Championship stops in San Marino and takes a caravan with him dthe 400 shooters, coming from all over the peninsula. Two competition fields (Multieventi and Palestra Casadei) for 5 disciplines (recurve, barebow, historical bow, longbow and compound freestyle) each divided into subcategories linked to the gender and age of the participants. The first day of qualifying is scheduled from 9 to 17 today, which will continue tomorrow; the finals instead will be held every Sunday. “The 2014 event was excellently organized and I believe this will be as well – comments the president of FIARC, Massimo Pancani – FIARC always counts on San Marino. Beyond the 400 participants, which are quite a number, i the best Italian 3D shooters are all present, in all specialties. It’s a championship with very, very high technical levels. The competition fields are made in an excellent way: the problem in indoor events is the visibility of the targets, which can be seen very well here and are set excellently“.
